RESPIRATORY CLINICS
Many years primary care respiratory nursing has enabled me to adapt to all kinds of practices and computer systems. I have worked in small single handed practices and currently working within a Primary care network (PCN) transforming respiratory care and setting up a diagnostic hub. I am project manager, trainer alongside clinically reviewing, diagnosing and managing all aspects of respiratory care. My speciality is the complex patient where the diagnosis is unclear.
SPIROMETRY TRAINING
This is my first love. The light bulb moment when a delegate 'gets it' makes training a joy. CONSULTANCY
Over my long career I have set up and run a COPD service, sat on the NICE COPD Guidelines committee (2010), published in all things COPD and spirometry. The top ten tips within A guide to quality assured diagnostic spirometry (PCC 2013) was written by me. I see diagnostic hubs as the solution to early and accurate diagnosis and have a plan of how to do it - watch this space as i report at the end of the year on my current project.

When I established my business in 2016, Inspirometry had been delivering bespoke spirometry training to teams and individuals. When I was made redundant in 2019 my passion for spirometry and my years of experience as a spirometry leader became the drivers for success. With a love of training and people, alongside understanding of adult education the resultant training has been evaluated as 'inspirational'. The advent of Covid has meant there have been changes to the way we have worked and undertaken training and updates.
